I have been admiring JORD Wood Watches for a few years now and had coveted a women’s wooden watch to call my own. I love that they are handcrafted and use range of raw materials as well as the feeling of ‘wilderness wanderlust’ I get as soon as one of their images pops up in my Instagram feed.

I was absolutely thrilled to be asked to collaborate with JORD as they are a brand that I already had an emotional connection with – even though I was not yet a direct consumer. They say it is always a matter of timing and when the email came through about 10 days before Father’s Day a little thought crept into my head. I scanned the list of women’s watches in the Woman’s shop and picked my favourite. Curiosity got the better of me, so I had a look through the men’s wooden watch range as well. I kept coming back to a watch that I knew that Tim would absolutely love, but what about MY watch? I really, really want one! But the thing is, Tim is hard to buy for.
